The Volcano and other originals
We have seen volcanoes from the outside. What about looking inside?
The photography book ICELAND INSIDE by Astthor Magnusson (Thor Magnusson) features the most unique volcanic eruption of our time, when in the middle of the night in January 1973 a volcano erupted in the town of Heimaey in Vestmannaeyjar Iceland.
The inhabitants were quickly evacuated and later returned to reclaim their homes from under the volcanic ashes. Images from the eruption itself, and from now, forty years later.
We go 200 meters below into the volcanic crater at Thrihnjukagigur to view a magma volcanic chamber from the inside.
The book also containes a selection of several other images from the stunning Iceland landscape.

I produce my own Fine Art Giclee prints using the highest quality archival photographic paper and Lucia 12 color pigment ink process guaranteed to last 100 years.
My favorite method of finishing is the GlossPix.com liquid gloss. This seals and protects the print for several hundred years without any color changes even in continues sunlight. The finished prints are then mounted on aluminium dibond plates delivered with wall fittings ready to hang. More here
